Quetta (Republican News) The Voice For Baloch Missing Persons held a massive protest and rally against the enforced disappearances in Balochistan here on Monday.
The families of Baloch missing persons have demanded the safe recovery of their loved ones, they requested the authorities to bring back the missing persons to the justice courts, if they committed any crimes, they should be punished according to the law. But unlawfully arresting people and disappeared them for years is itself a crime and it must be stopped.
Nasrullah Baloch, the chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons said while talking to the media “Supreme Court hearing formed a judicial inquiry on enforced disappearances and extra-judicial killings in Balochistan, and the judicial inquiry found the Pakistan Paramilitary forces and other security institutions guilty. And the involvement of military institutions was proven in the abductions and killings in Balochistan”.
“The supreme court has issued a notice to release the missing persons or bring them to the court if they have committed crimes or involved in any criminal activity, but State institutions must stop unlawful arrests and killings”.
Nasrullah Baloch has further said that if the missing persons are not released, they will organize massive demonstrations and rally along with the families of Sindhi and Pashtun missing persons, and they will march to Islamabad.
The provincial and federal governments remain totally silent on the issue because of the involvement of the military institutions in enforced disappearances and extra-judicial killings.
